Melee Cleave (Warrior / Rogue / Lock)
Melee Cleave pairs a Warrior and Rogue with a Warlock for triple-threat pressure, backed by the two best healers in the game. The Warrior provides MS debuff, the Rogue provides burst and CC, and the Warlock provides sustained DoT pressure. This comp can both burst targets down during CC chains and win through attrition. It is more aggressive than Eurocomp while still having two strong healers for durability.
General Strategy
Aggressive sustained pressure. Warrior MS the kill target, Rogue stuns and bursts, Warlock DoTs everything. Kill windows happen when Rogue Kidney Shots the target while Warrior has MS up and Warlock Fear chains the enemy healers. Druid Cyclones and Priest Mana Burns between goes.
This comp has more kill pressure than Eurocomp because the Rogue's burst is massive. The trade-off is having two healers instead of three, which means you're more vulnerable to being burst down yourselves.
Team Roles
Warrior: MS uptime, target calling, Intercept to close gaps. Intimidating Shout for AoE fear during goes. Spell Reflect. Peel for healers when needed.
Rogue: Sap pre-match for opener advantage. Kidney Shot kill targets during coordinated goes. Blind enemy healers. Kick and Gouge to interrupt. Vanish to reset and re-Sap.
Warlock: DoTs on all 5 enemies. Fear enemy healers during kill windows. Curse of Tongues on enemy healers. Felguard on kill target. Soul Link for durability.
Druid: Primary healer. HoTs on melee. Cyclone key targets during goes. Drink aggressively behind pillars. Feral Charge to interrupt.
Priest: Backup healer. Mana Burn enemy healers constantly. Mass Dispel. Pain Suppression the kill target during enemy goes. Shield before goes.
Kill Setup
The go: Rogue Saps a healer → Warrior calls target → Rogue opens with Cheap Shot on kill target → Warlock Fears another healer → Druid Cyclones the third healer → Rogue Kidney Shots → Warrior pops cooldowns → Priest Mana Burns. With 3 enemy healers CC'd and MS + Rogue burst + DoTs, most targets die.
